That one is definetly a buyer. I am hoping to have a Twilight party and watch the movie and have snacks. I will keep you informed.
Yes, me and the girls will be there for that one too but this time in some comfy clothes and our pillows!

The kids loved the Forces of Nautre show. They got rained on and felt high winds from a tornado and heat from a forest fire. Their was a lot that they learned. Me and Carlos even read about our reproductive organs and how a baby is born. (We went through this a few years ago.) He said that even though he knew about all of it and that he know that's how it happens he said it was still pretty gross when we looked at the pictures. When we came out Carlos told a buddy to go in there and the boy went in and quickly came out. They thought the mucus shooting out a huge nose and a pimple grow and explode was much more interesting. Even though when I chaperone and have five kids in our group I really enjoy the time me and Carlos get to spend with each other. I don't know how many more fieldtrips Carlos will want me to go to. I know one day he'll get to that stage where he is to old to want mom around but until that day I will always take these opportunities to be a part of His life and treasure them... Today is Carlos's Eleventh Birthday.
I had the perfect pregnancy with Carlos. No morning sickness. I didn't gain weight or wear maternity clothes until my 7th month. His due date was November 20th. My water broke that morning (Nov. 20th) around 6 in the morning. 19 hours later and no epidural, Carlos was born on Nov. 21st around 1:00 am. I was in love the moment my eyes set on him! He was 9lbs 9 oz and had a head full of hair. It was already down his neck to his shoulders! The nurses couldn't find a cap that fitted his big head so one of the nurses knitted one for himJ. Carlos was a good baby. He slept through the night and entertained himself pretty well when I had stuff to do. He has always loved to snuggle and cuddle up. He has always been a goofball. He likes to laugh and have fun but is also a hard worker at school. Since kindergarten he has always been an A student. He is now a junior librarian and loves it. He likes to play soccer and has been playing in a league (except maybe the last 8 months) since he was 5. A couple years back he was in a karate class and recently has gone back. He likes to play video games and listen to his music. Lincoln Park is his favorite band. He also likes to go out golfing with his dad. Carlos is stubborn (Big Carlos says he gets it from me and I can't disagree) at times but most of the times he is an awesome kid. He has grown up so much and we are so proud of the person he has become. Happy Birthday Baby & Have A Great Year!
Carlos took some vacation time and Lil Carlos was off of school on Monday and Tuesday so we decided to take a quick Trip to San Diego. My mom was also able to take some time off from work so she joined us… This was the first out of town trip that my mom came with us so we were excited about that.
Our trip started on Sunday Nov. 9th at 3:30 am. (According to Carlos we were behind schedule) We like to drive at that time so that the boys will be asleep for the majority of the ride and would not keep saying "Are we there yet". We got into town and had breakfast and than headed to…
Birch Aquarium
We got to see a lot of cool looking fish that are found in the Pacific Ocean. Our favorites were the giant octopus, the different jelly fish and the plant life that lives underwater. They have a huge 70,000 gallon kelp forest tank with different types of fishes. It was pretty hard to take good pictures because of the glare coming off the glass. Our next stop was our hotel…
Bahia Resort
Carlos' boss recommended this place and I give it a 10. We got there way before our 4:00 check in but we thought we would ask if we could check in early and we got upgraded to a bay front room. Our original room was to overlook their garden with 2 double beds but instead we got a bay front room right in front of the beach with 2 double beds and a couch and kitchenette, we didn't complain… the resort had a sea lion pool. We got to see a feeding. The sea lions they have there were rescued pups. Then we headed to the beach. The hotel is on a peninsula on mission bay so we weren't on the Pacific Ocean but the boys didn't mind. They just wanted to build there sand castle. After we changed and headed to the hotels arcade. I thought this was pretty cool. All the games were free! Than, we played a round of shuffle board. I have never played this before. It actually was pretty fun. By the time we finished we went and ate and than we watched Hancock in our room. This resort was really nice, they have spa packages too. So if anyone is planning a trip to southern California I definitely recommend this resort they have great deals online and you can add tickets for Disneyland, SeaWorld, and others… So that was our first day… on Monday we went to …
San Diego Zoo
This was a first time for our family. This trip was an early birthday present for lil Carlos and he choose to Go to San Diego Zoo since he has never been there before. It was perfect San Diego weather. (I forgot to mention in the last paragraph that the weather on our first day was cooollldd! It was very windy. Cy's hat kept flying off! And it was sprinkling on and off.) We started off with some of the small stuff like the reptiles and insects. Then we got on the Skyfari to the other side of the zoo. I do not like heights at all and I know this wasn't a ride, it didn't do any twists or turns but still I was scared Carlos would make the car rock every time he turned to look around and my grip got tighter and tighter on the bar with every movement he made. Cy didn't enjoy it either. He was crying before we went on. Anyways, some of our favorites were the Polar Bear, the Hippo, the Panda and the Rhino. I know this sounds weird but when we walked through the whole entire Zoo we got on a tour bus. It was nice because it recapped what we saw plus we got to hear some interesting facts that weren't posted. After the tour ride we left and got something to eat and made our way back home. We really had a nice time and my mom going made it extra special. Our trip was short and sweet sorry my post wasn't as short…
